2011 — The Beginning
Dharmishi Technologies traces its roots back to 2011, when a group of MCA students in Pune, Maharashtra, began working on graphic design and website projects for local businesses. What started as a learning experience and passion for technology soon evolved into a professional pursuit as we earned the trust of larger clients and successfully delivered more than 100 websites within our first two years.
To showcase our growing portfolio, we launched webgraphicdesigners.net, which served as our initial online identity. The experience gained through academic projects, technical competitions, and real-world client work gave us the confidence to transform freelancing into a full-time business.
2013 — Establishing the Brand
In 2013, we adopted the name Dharmishi Technologies and secured our official domain, www.dharmishi.com, marking the beginning of our long-term brand identity. The name Dharmishi is unique and was thoughtfully created by combining parts of the names of several important family members.
As the company evolved, our original portfolio website was retired, and in 2014 we launched www.dharmishi.com as our permanent digital presence.
2015 — Returning to Kanpur
After several years of serving clients from Pune, we relocated to our hometown of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, with the vision of bringing high-quality digital services to local businesses. At the time, many organizations in the region depended on agencies from other cities for professional web and digital solutions.
Recognizing this gap, we set out to provide businesses with reliable and affordable services including website development, digital marketing, graphic design, mobile application development, and custom software solutions.
2019 — Expanding Beyond Borders
While continuing to work with businesses in Kanpur, we also partnered with marketing agencies and technology firms across the globe. These collaborations enabled us to deliver projects for clients in the USA, UK, Australia, Europe, UAE, and other international markets, significantly broadening our experience and capabilities.
As the company continued to grow, we strengthened our operations and formally registered under GST in 2020, reflecting our commitment to building a structured, scalable, and professionally managed organization.
Today
More than a decade later, Dharmishi Technologies has evolved from a small student initiative into a technology company delivering websites, web applications, custom software, mobile apps, ecommerce solutions, and digital transformation services for businesses across multiple industries.
Our mission remains the same: to build reliable technology solutions that solve real business problems, improve efficiency, and help organizations grow.
